The New World Class Educated in New Zealand

English Language Matters: Courses: General Information

Helping you to achieve your English Language potential

We believe that in order for you to achieve your potential we must allow you to:

  • Set your own personal language goal
  • Determine which study and teaching methods work best for you
  • Receive regular feedback from the teaching staff about your progress
  • Have access to the highest quality emotional & psychological support
  • Have classes which are flexible enough for you to fit study into your life rather than fitting your life into study

English Language Matters Limited sets itself very high standards of professional service and education development and delivery. We are committed to a balance between “learning language to use it” and “using language to learn it” so always ensure you receive a variety of material based and conversation based lessons.

We are always open to your suggestions for improvement and value your input into making English Language Matters Limited the best school in Dunedin and New Zealand; an ideal place to learn the English language. We look forward to welcoming you to English Language Matters.

Course Placement

The Oxford Placement Test determines the level at which you will be placed with the Communication Studies course. These tests will take place before you start or on your first day at school and will take no more than one hour. If, at a later date, you and the teacher find that the work is too hard or easy for you at the level at which you were placed, it will be possible for you to transfer to another class. Your comfort and enjoyment as a learner is very important to us.
